Inverter For Use With Your Solar Power System
Change the dc power created by you solar power system to a friendly ac power.
Since, we assume you've been reading along with these little guide we wrote, then you already understand that houses use ac power, but solar panels make dc power.
So, you're probably wondering how do I use the power if I need ac but I only have dc. Good question and very easy to answer and implement. You just need an inverter.
An inverter will take the dc power and convert it to a friendly ac current that can then be used to power whatever you would like in your house.
Sound too easy right? Thats the great thing about inverters, they are easy to understand and easy to hookup.
In order to hook up you inverter, just take the wirs from the battery bank and connect them to the inverter and you are off and running using clean ac power.
There is some even better news for you besides it being so easy a child could do it. The price of inverters over the last 25 years has dropped so low, that you can pick one up for a very reasonable price.
